I have noticed a lot of people create videos on youtube using video clips from other artist and using music from another artist blending it together. I would like to learn how to do this.
I agree with the two previous reviewers. I would rather use something like windows movie maker or sony vegas which might be the best software ever to make videos with. First, you have to get a downloader to download the videos to your hardrive like youtube downloader.
Just use Windows Movie Maker. Drop the video in the timeline, mute it if necessary, then drop the audio in under that, simple. Almost any viusing music on youtubedeo editting software allows adding custom audio, its not difficult to do.

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/lyric/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.
or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match witusing music on youtubeh pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....
this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.
Zillatube produces good quality wmv/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.
It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/wmv videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.
