My laptop has a bunch of viruses so im going to take it to PC World tomorrow, i was just wondering how much it's gunna cost
Places like PC world will charge you an arm and a leg. This is what will happen and I can almost guarantee it: You will drop it off and they will say "OK no problem" They give you a rough estimate after charging you a diagnostic fee to complete the job.
You will pick it up and they will tell you that "we couldn't get it out so we had to reformat and install everything all over again"
You will pay over a hundred bucks for this stellar cookie cutter service plus the original fee for diagnosinlaptop pc worldg it.
Your better off purchasing windows all over again or using the disk you already have (if you don't want to upgrade). Do yourself a HUGE favor and look up how to format the drive and reinstall windows. save money feel better about your new found skills :)
Would query PC World , They quoted ￡70 whereas a small repair shop said ￡40 .. Very often they don't do it on the premises but send them away .. Friend of mine had a Dell ,, returned to PC World , It took over 2 months to come back .. If you know how to do a system restore you can do it yourself .
You can try it yourself first. Download the AVG Rescue iso and burlaptop pc worldn it to a CD. Then boot your computer with it and update and run the scan. This will get rid of viruses. There are directions on the website to help you

After that download Malwarebytes, install it and update it. Then run a full scan to remove spyware.

If you have the disks for your laptop, don't bother taking it to PC World. I suggest you backup your files and format your laptop, all viruses will be gone, however, you will need to reinstall all your applications.
